The Gather-NOW Program unleashes the power of place, harnesses the power of people, and supports prophetic purposes. It mirrors other successful and thriving programs that are sponsored by other organizations (see below). 

We have witnessed the success of 2 programs in particular (see below) which capitalize on the power of place and have wondered why we couldn't duplicate just such a program for members of the Restored Church...Gather-NOW is that program. 

KEY BACKGROUND & UNDERSTANDING:

The Israeli Government sponsors a “Birthright Program” which brings thousands of Jews from all over the world (with at least 25% Jewish blood), to the Holy Land for an all-expense pilgrimage trip to the motherland. Tens of thousands come to connect to their spiritual roots and through the power of place develop a conviction of their heritage. This is great for the “Tribe of Judah”!

Similarly, the Baptist Church offers a program called, “The Covenant Journey”. It is for college age students to take a deeply subsidized Christian trip to the Holy Land in order to benefit from the power of place and help cement their knowledge and relationship with the Savior. This is great for the Baptists (our ‘Christian Cousins’). 

Gather-NOW is just such a program, but for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints ("Tribe of Ephraim"). It is developed by seasoned educators with decades of exerience in the Holy Land and is fueled by generous and visionary donors who know the power of place and the impact it makes on discipleship & conviction. 

We hope you will strongly consider becoming a partner with us and make this dream and vision possible for those called to Gather Israel and prepare the world for the return of the Savior. 

It will be difficult to find a better and more effective program that will equal its impact! 

Gather-NOW programs are 10 to 17 day experiences where participants are infused with truth, knowledge, and the power of place that all help lead to deep conversion and understanding. With that unique training they will be better armed and able to engage in the Gathering of Israel and other sacred endeavors. It will be particularly helpful in retention and personal conversion for young single adults. It will, in a very real sense, be infusing the Youth Battalion of the Lord with deeply trained warriors.

Most of the real power and impact of these programs happen AFTER the trip is over and they begin to apply the powerful principles witnessed and learned on-site. With our Pre-Tour Curriculum and Post-Tour Curriculum these principles are more readily internalized and applied.  

The 10-17 day experience itself will be INCREDIBLE, but what happens as a result of that experience is where the real impact and gain happens. It keeps giving and giving and giving! 

The return you will gain with your investment will be mostly spiritual and in sacred and eternal ways. We are seeking donors who are comfortable with this and who desire this type of return on their investment. It will be with things that matter most and involve "the more weighty matters"

Gather-NOW programs focus on Christ and how we can serve and be like Him. It is a very unique way for each of us to hasten our own preparations and provide powerful experiences for hundreds of others in thier discipleship.  

It is a very, very effective way for us to learn personally about the Life & Ministry of Christ including the Gathering of Israel and be better prepared to assist others for the 2nd coming.

Nothing quite compares to walking where Jesus walked and seeing with your own eyes and feeling with all your senses the power of place that accompanies the stories in the scriptures. Not only do the stories come to life, but the Life & Ministry of Christ also becomes more real and personally meaningful.

Participants from the Tribe of Ephraim (and others from the Restored Church of Jesus Christ) will have the opportunity to connect to their spiritual roots and understand all the rights and privileges associated with their rich spiritual heritage through these intensely personal experiences! 

There is nothing more important and more significant than the work that will be performed by those from the Tribe of Ephraim in the Last Days! With great responsibility comes great power and gaining that perspective on-site comes naturally and powerfully with a visit to the Holy Land and other sacred places. The power of place is one of the biggest benefits and it truly facilitates understanding of these important truths. 

The Gather-NOW programs (especially to the Holy Land) teach in a personal and powerful way about the House of Israel and their role in it. Learning firsthand about the Tribes of Israel and how the 10 Tribes became lost and how the Tribe of Judah is gathered there in Jerusalem and how that all fits in to God's masterful plan and most importantly our individual role in it. Nothing quite matches the scope and impact of this in-person on-site experience that brings these concepts and scriptures to life!

There is nothing happening on this earth right now that is more important than that. There is nothing of greater consequence. Absolutely nothing!"  

And remember...Most of the real power and impact of these programs happen AFTER the trip is over. 

The reason these Gather-NOW programs are so important is that they eliminate the financial barrier for participants. This subsidized arrangement changes everything completely and opens doors for ALL to participate. 

Many families and individuals who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who would never even think of being able to participate are able to engage in this deep, personal conversion, and have these powerful spiritual experiences. It is a program that will fortify individuals, families, and the Church.

YOU can be the one who facilitates and in essence would be responsible for providing these long-lasting, high impact, life-changing expereinces for these individuals (see D&C 18:10,15-16).

You cannot put a price tag on providing what Pres Romney said "...is the most important knoweledge in the Universe [Knowledge of the Father & Son]". 

The Gather-NOW programs have been carefully and skillfully designed over several years of development by seasoned personnel with LDS youth in mind. These programs are ideal and are carefully calculated to to bring significant understanding and impact into the lives of the participants. 

Through the Pre-Tour Curriculum, the powerful In-Country Expereince , and the Post-Tour course, participants will cement in their hearts and minds a conviction of who they truly are and the important role they get to play in the Last Days. Your donation dollars will go to provide youth with powerful scriptural experiences in the Holy Land and other sacred locations (see the detailed itinerary for the specific experiences and teachings). Each program has been carefully designed to maximize impact and deepen converstion and commitment to prophetic priorities like the Gathering of Israel, etc. 

Few things compare to studying scriptural stories on site and enjoying complete context and focus. More can be learned in a matter of minutes in that setting than can be gained from any amount of studying in a classroom. It resembles what the Prophet Joseph said, "Could you gaze into heaven five minutes, you would know more than you would by reading all that ever was written on the subject. (Joseph Smith, HC 6:50)

Your donation dollars will provide youth with REAL sustainable Humanitarian experiences that will be couched in scriptural purpose and meaning. 

Not all Humanitarian Service is created equal and we believe STRONGLY that Humanitarian Service should be sustainable and deeply meaningful for all involved. Safety and ethic practice is our complete goal and passion. We ONLY engage in sustainable projects that benefit all involved. 

Many humanitarian experiences provided by popular groups and organizations put an undo burden on locals and local church members. Furthermore they are led by young college students which puts young participants in compromising situations and doesn't ensure safety and also raises many other concners. Humanitarian experiences can have a powerful affect upon participants, especially if done properly. 

Your donation dollars will provide safe, powerful, sustainable humanitarian experiences for youth that will reinforce prophetic priorities and teach youth eternal truths associated with their service. 

Your donation dollars will provide youth with a Wilderness Experience where they will "Disconnect to Reconnect" with the Savior and their Creator. Youth are innundated with digital devices and screen time. Being able to totally disconnect from all digital mediums and foucs on eternal truths is an environment that promotes learning and growth. These programs are designed to provide powerful experiences that will help youth know who they are and how they fit into prophetic priorities and teachings. These programs are power packed and focused with the right amount of fun, adventure, Spirit, and learning. 

Your donation dollars will go to support youth who have deep desires to learn, grow, and serve the Lord and others...Youth who have desires to serve and participate in the Gathering of Israel and other prophetic priortities. In this way it will maximize your donation dollars and also maximize the amount of good and impact made in the world. 

We have developed a selection process that will help identify youth who will benefit most from the programs and who will in turn pay it forward and implement the truths learned and put it into action.  

These unique on-site programs specialize in taking youth and young single adults to sacred sites and immersing them into the scripture stories and events which creates an unparalleled learning environment that cannot be duplicated. The scriptures come alive and change hearts and minds. Participants return home eager to dive into deeper study with their new understanding and excited to share with others and most importantly to serve and give. This is amazing preparation for missions, temple attendance and life!

Gather-NOW programs are NOT a “free trip” to cool places. We select people who are ready to learn and are willing to work for the opportunity. Participants show that they are ready for this deeper level learning by being required to create a meaningful service project as part of their accepting a financial scholarship. There is also a Pre-tour curriculum and a Post-Tour course that will help them internalize and apply all that they have learned. 

Your donation dollars will  provide LDS youth with the powerful experiences that capitalize on the Power of Place.  Experiencing the power of place, and standing in holy places, has a profound influence on an individual! 

For this reason, the Israeli Government instituted a “Birthright Program” where anyone with at least 25% Jewish blood can participate in an all-expense paid trip to the Holy Land. They understand the power of a personal visit to the Holy Land and invest millions in it. 

In similar fashion, the Baptists have a program for college students called “The Covenant Journey”. These participants pay $500 and the rest of their experience is subsidized by generous donors. These organizations understand the power of place and the deep conversion that occurs with such an experience. 

Your donation dollars will provide youth with the opportunity to participate in a life-changing experience specifically designed for youth of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. There has never been a more critical time to prepare our youth and these programs can be monumental in their preparations, commitment and discipleship. 

10% of your donation dollars will go to the few who dedicate their time and effort to make this program possible logistically. Program expenses include participant selection, pre-tour program, service project monitoring, and post tour services.
