Itinerary

Day 1-2: Fly to Guatemala City

Today we fly to Guatemala City. When we arrive we will travel through the beautiful country side to Lake Atitlan and settle in at Casa Cultiva.

Day 2 (Sun): CHURCH / LEARN

This morning we enjoy Church Services in the local community.  We will spend the day learning about Guatemala through team activities and humanitarian leadership workshops.

Day 3 & 5 (Mon & Wed): SERVE / CONNECT

Spend two days traveling to through the mountains of Guatemala to the homes of local Myans.  Getting to know individuals and families without words and work together to build and install garden boxes with Cultiva International.

Explore Lake Atitlan and participate in spiritual and leadership workshops.  Ride a boat across beautiful Lake Atitlan and take a cultural tour in San Juan La Laguna. Learn how Mayan women naturally dye cotton and weave intricate textiles, see how local chocolate is made from cacao beans, and watch a demonstration on local leather manufacturing. The evenings are filled with more amazing leadership workshops.

Dive into Lake Atitlan from a 30 ft platform, zip-line through a pristine nature reserve (with the chance to see monkeys and butterflies), go on a hike in the beautiful mountains surrounding the amazing Lake Atitlan and be inspired to do more and be more!  Souvenir shopping in the evening and final leadership and spiritual workshops.
